Bollhalla is the competition and training facility for Mariehamn's Gymnastics Association. Bollhalla is situaded 4 km from the centre of Mariehamn.
Gymnastics in Åland is organised by Mariehamn's Gymnastics Association, which has 350 active members. Nearly 200 juniors train artistic gymnastics. About 50 girls and 10 boys compete regularly in various competitions

The Gymnastic Assoc. has a vast experience in organising competitions and hosted a national competition with 200 entries in November 2008.

Moving experience for gymnastics
Dozens of gymnasts, parents, coaches and fans turned up to give the gymnastics venue Bollhalla a make over before the start of the Games in a few weeks' time. It all ran like clockwork when the floor was moved piece by piece from one end of the hall to the other. The biggest challenge was moving the floor cover and it took some manpower to shift it across the hall.
