Venues: various football grounds situated on the main island.
Football is the most popular sport on Åland and there are 12 regulation size pitches on the island.
The main ground is the Wiklöf Holding Arena (WHA) in central Mariehamn with a covered stand that holds seating accommodation for 1650 spectators. It is the home to IFK Mariehamn a Finnish Premiership team and is therefore equipped to FFA/UEFA requirements.
In addition to WHA matches will be played in Lemland, Sund, Jomala, Finström, Hammarland, Saltvik and Eckerö. These grounds the majority of which have spectator stands are within 10 -30 minutes by car from Mariehamn. All have changing rooms, toilets etc.

Selina the Seal, the official mascot of the Games is very eager to get going.
