My area of responsibility during the Natwest Island Games XIII is:
Events

When I'm not helping out with the Åland Island Games I work as:

Managing Director of Åland's Inudustrihus Ab

In my spare time I like to:

Exercising, being outside, taking part in my children's pastimes, travelling, reading...

Number of Island Games I've participated in:

None of them as an active participant

I can sum up my entire Island Games career in this way:

I have taken part as a supporter in the Island Games on the Isle of Man, Åland and Rhodes.

Why the Games are important for me:
Åland athletes are given the opportunity to compete internationally.  The Island Games give Åland sport breadth and competition as well as increasing interest for sport among young people.  There is still joy in participating in the competitions.

Why I want to take part in the NatWest Island Games XIII:

Arranging an Island Games on Åland affects all Ålanders.  Everyone is working towards the same goal in a positive spirit.

My visions/hopes for the Natwest Island Games are:

The Island Games on Åland should be filled with great sporting experiences and fast-paced events.

What is it that's going to make the NatWest XIII 2009 Åland Island Games special? What do you think the participants will remember most when they go home?
Interest in the Island Games is big on Åland.  Last time, in 1991, it was a success.  The participants will remember all the records and the joyous sporting frenzy.
