Windjammer Media is a three year old company that specializes in producing Multimedia Maritime travel guides for the global market.
Based on the Aland Islands the company wanted to develop a locally connected figure and during the Island Games of 2009 this figure called Selina the Seal will act as host/mascot for the NatWest Island Games on Aland.Janna Johansson at Windjammer Media, says that "besides giving the visitor a positive impression that will be remembered it is important that the figure chosen also has a natural connection to the area and therefore Selina the Seal illustrated by Sven Andersson is the perfect choice.
