Ammunition that will be provided at the shooting competition:

Airguns: RWS
Skeet, trap and sporting: Gyttorp Lead Max
Pistol and rifle .22: Lapua Center-X
Pistol .32: Lapua S&W long WC C427 5,35 g/83gr
Pistol .38: CCI Blazer

After consultation between Ålands Shooting Association and the local Committee for Social and Environmental Health it has been decided that the use of lead shot will be permitted during the NatWest Island Games 2009.

All the shooting disciplines will be held at the Bredmo shooting range, which is situated about 25 minutes by car from Mariehamn.
